I will admit that the movie ingredients are probably not what they should've been, but it kept me entertained... 2 parts comedy, 1 part action, 1 part special effects, a dash of plot, and a hottie in uniform. The heavier parts masked the skimping on plot. Though I did have some qualms about the plotline holes. I just looked past it. Big blockbusters, sad as it may be, are more just for entertainment that art. As for the point of view, I'm not bothered that it's from humans' perspectives. It's a human world and Bay's interpretation. I can understand wanting the audience to connect with Shia. He was flippin hilarious! But you're right about the sequel. You saw more of the plot by pulling back the action. Even the comedy couldn't mask it enough. And the focus on the rocky love story wanted to make me gag. This chick could care less about the mushy gushy crap. Give me action! Give me laughs!KraZy aSiaNhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13054002865687375504noreply@blogger.com
